Description
A farewell gift for Riet, a colleague of mine, who retired last month (august 2013). She worked for 38 years at the lab, which means as long as I live. When I was born she started to work, amazing isn't it? I made two drawings of her face. For this one - the second one - I used watercolor painting. It didn't quite worked out like I wanted because it isn't exactly what a real watercolor painting should look like. I'm happy with the outcome though. For the first drawing I used colored pencils and some watercolor pencils. The pencil one is actually the best because it is most similar to her face ^_^
When I had late shifts, Riet was always very kind to drive me home after work. She's a lovely and kind person and I'm gonna miss her at work.
