UGHHHH only had 30 minutes to draw this morning before work.Continued adjusting Rusty's color palette.
I wanna make his color scheme look more "main character-ish," if that makes sense.
Blue pants seems to be better suited for this than green.
Also wanna start emphasizing that "wannabe rock star" look for his design.
Will be adding a jacket for this, next drawing session.
Already got some sketches down for the jacket, but they're too rough/messy so I won't be posting those yet.
Future design notes for myself (for next session):
- Add/draw the version with the jacket. (Take your time on the line art for this. Already tried rushing it today, it didn't work.)
- Take your time designing the gloves.
- The shoes. Colorful shoes might make or break this design. Be mindful of how the jacket affects the design, then adjust the shoes accordingly.
- Will probably have to change the scars later, too.
because apparently I like to
make things as difficult for myself as possible.
