Chris knelt down close to his daughter, meeting her at eye level. "Now, I'm gonna attempt to try to teach you magic, not my magic, but the magic that your mother's world uses." He got up and walked over to get a staff from the corner, he glimpsed into the room beside the one he was teaching Jenine in. He saw his 13 year old son, Meshlov going crazy with a knife on a dummy. Chris grabbed the staff and walked back over to Jenine. He looked into her blue eyes and felt the love for his socially awkward daughter. Her black hair fell over her shoulder and freckles dotted her face, she had that same quirky grin her mother had, and the hair to match. She was also somewhat fond of dresses, as shown when she wore one every day, but not today, she was wearing a jacket, t shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of black boots. She always had common sense, and was cautious, unlike her brother, who is torturing that poor dummy. That made her special in Chris's eyes, that he had a daughter smarter than him. She must've picked that up from her mother. He handed her the staff and looked at her. "Now, I have no idea how to do this, but mages make a concentrated face. Try to use a harmless spell on me." He walked over in front of his daughter, facing her directly. She made a focused face and pointed the staff at him the staff lit up and a ball of light shot out. It hit him dead in the chest, sending him flying into the wall, his back slapping flat on the brick. He fell from his place on the wall and landed on his face, with a thud. He pulled himself off of his new resting place and wiper his face off, making the blood not be so scary. He looked at his daughter who was waiting for the wrath of her father. He was too dazed to be mad, so he looked at her and made a neutral face. "So, I'm pretty sure that is enough for today." He walked out of the room, to go pass out somewhere safe, not around meshlov, he will stab Chris.
