I'm gonna come back one day and add more detail to her bio, but for now, know that Calamity is an uncommon mobian hybrid ink who descends from a cat mom and ink dad.

Because she belongs to the universe of Orion, almost every character there has some quirk/joke characteristic. The joke in Calamity's design is that I gave her my namesake as her flower-- hyacinths. Turns out, my flower is poisonous/toxic.

I mean, I always knew I was a pain in the ass to take care of and an invasive pest, but to be confirmed that I am also toxic? Gosh, my flower is exactly me-- //SLAPPED
Fun side note: I've lived almost 22 years with this name and milking it for all my worth, but I have never managed to draw hyacinths properly. Again, my flower, just like me, is a pain in the ass.

Anywho, this sweet and adorable looking kitty cat ink is actually who I call my daughter of evil, as mentioned in Mint's bio. Don't let her looks deceive you--she really has a black and white perspective of the world around her and will not hesitate to kill anyone she feels like killing. The only person in her history who has made her hesitate in her warpath is Mint themselves, but even Mint walks a thin line of her patience after they betray her.

Calamity also possesses powers of decay and destruction. Initially, as a child, her family believed her powers manifested in bad luck, which instilled a sense of fear in the townsfolk; however, when her rage was unleashed, it turned out that those broken mirrors and back pains were just trickles of her power. The full extent of her powers are devastating, which plays a large role in the destruction of Orion.

As for her backstory? Well, let's just say it's not a happy one and come back to that another time.
