Description
"Worm Knight" (necromancer master, "Worm Anchorite") is a middle rank in the Order of the Black Worm, coming after the rank of "Black Soul" (necromancer adept) and preceding the rank of "Death Priest". Representatives of this rank are powerful necromancers with great authority, who act as heads of cells (bases) of the Order in a particular province, or become "Worm hermits".
This term also refers to a type of undead, which is a tall, heavily armed and ferocious skeletons, clad in strong dark spiked armor and possessing a mind. As a rule, they are created from "bloody skeletons", which are characterized by increased bone strength, which makes them much more difficult to kill. In the Order, they serve as heavy infantry, less often as cavalry. One of them is shown above.

* "Worm Hermit" is a rank outside the main hierarchy of the Order, which can be achieved starting from the rank of "Worm Knight". A hermit necromancer is one who voluntarily renounces further career in the Order to serve directly the "King of Worms" Mannimarco. Therefore, such a necromancer will never become a magister or archmagister, even after becoming a lich. He can also hold the position of "Worm Anchorite" and lead the base of necromancers, like the "Worm Knight".

In addition, the Hermit is subordinate to the elite units of necromancers — "Hermit Adjutants", created by Lorgray Venerius as a counterbalance to the battlemages of the Mages Guild from the "Order of the Lamp". These are carefully selected, trained and equipped necromancer warriors who skillfully combine magic with martial arts. The unit of "adjutants" ("finger") consists of 2-5 small detachments ("little fingers"), each with 8-12 fighters. The Worm Hermit can simultaneously command 2 "fingers" and thus 80-120 adjutants. Adjutants themselves can be divided into summoners, warriors, archers, assassins, healers, and other classes.
