Description
A barque is a spaceship larger than an escort but smaller than a cruiser deployed by the Imperial Armada and the Space Marine Legions. It is possible to use barques as escorts, system defense ships, or consular vessels. Because of their ability to enter a planet’s atmosphere, these three-kilometer-long warships have become a popular support vessel among the Legiones Astartes. They're used as heavy artillery support or when orbital bombardments are not feasible.Shown here is the Attack Barque Abashiri (網走川) attached to the 11th Crusade Fleet.
