Description
A recent addition to the Legion armor pool, the Predator Annihilator, is an adaptation of the Predator tank used by the Legiones Astartes with twin-linked lascannons. It was conceived 600 years after the Great Crusade by the Sixth Legion, 'Space Wolves' during the Skarath Crusade near the fringes of the Eye of Terror. During the Crusade, Skarath Heretics and rebels, including armor, surrounded a Space Wolves Great Company.
The Space Wolves, renowned for their ingenuity and refusal to accept defeat, began modifying their Predator Destructors with their Lascannons. Now armed with the very first Predator Annihilators, the Space Wolves used them to break their enemies' siege and cut massive swaths through the traitors' armor.
The Predator Annihilator has become a popular alternative to the more complex Predator Executioner. Even the eleventh Legion uses the Predator Annihilator when the Predator Executioner is deemed unnecessary.
