Are you familiar with the "Suicide Girls"? They may all have piercings and tattoos, but their work is never re-touched... it is all natural. I quite enjoy when photographers decide to take that route. (not necessarily all the time). But it is refreshing to see someone you can relate with. Its difficult to relate to "perfect" supermodels. You know?

She intends a morning swim in the ocean in the nude - after taking off her pants, and before she can remove her top - a cool breeze comes in off the ocean, swirls her hair, and raises goosebumps on her arms - she pauses and experiences the sparkling light dancing on the waves, as the delicious chill caresses her bare thighs and buttocks. Beauty contemplating beauty.

Thank you Peter, for me, "reassuring view" is such an evocative example of photographic art, that I felt inspired to at least try to capture what I was feeling, as you asked, in a story. This model, this setting, this pose, is so poignant, it deserves more praise than I'm capable of rendering.

Transition ~
change is cold and so is the world..
despite it's beauty... no matter how hard we try it seems we're only left with ourselves.
And even though it's not familiar or comfortable, sometimes we have to jump in anyhow ~ still is it better to stand alone and shiver on the outside or jump in unfamiliar waters where sharks & other unknowns are searching for prey...
~ change, growth, learning can be a bitch
but necessary

Sometimes when I'm really sad I go somewhere that is huge open space and realize my sadness is just a drop in the grand scheme of things. Makes it seem not so bad
