Very nice, but I am to terrified of replacing files. o-o Last time I did it, my pc would not log in. xD So I decided to never do it again. That is why i will just buy Windows 8 Pro. xD

If you are really interested in customizing your OS, i recommend to install a dual boot system. So you always have a working system if something is going wrong. You can use one OS to repair the other one.

I normally use Virtual box, because I don't know how to dual boot. O.o

Yepp. Try VMwareplayer free. It is faster, more stable and easier to install VMs. I needed years to recognize it, but i never regret it.

So, would it be better than Virtual Box. O.o

I think so. It's free, so there is no risk to try it. Easier to handle and more stability.

Very nice. I'll consider it. At the moment I am back into XP customization, so it may come in handy.

Yeah, I think I won't. I don't like modifying any files, I just like the themes.

That's true. It is only to make the transformation complete. I always try to come as close as possible to the original.

That's a good question. When you make your OS to look like another OS this is a little detail to make the fake perfect. It doesn't really make sense, it's just for fun.

Ah, fun! I've heard of that, perhaps I should try it sometime
I changed over to Linux Ubuntu a little while ago, so nothing looks the way I'm used to anyways.

Ubuntu is real easy to learn, and I don't like Vista or Win7, so I might as well do the transition before XP becomes entirely obsolete.

and in 7955, windows is genuine if you activate it using beta serials.
The red text also has a strange background. can I fix it?
π: 0 β©: 1
PeterRollar In reply to ainq [2011-06-05 17:11:48 +0000 UTC]
It can be fixed, only it is hard to explain, because my english is not so good.I've inserted a bitmap in the dll. That's the reason why it looks a bit different. It's a common problem of such stuff.Rightclick your desktop choose properties, than appearence.Select advanced, than 3D objects from the drop down menu.Click on first colour, than select others. You will see a menu which shows your settings. Mostly RGB 244 244 244. Change it a little to match the colour of the background. This also fixes problems of the most shell32 dlls. Hopefully i found the correct words to make it understandable.
