More Metro for Windows8. Don't like the visual difference between the Windows8 startscreen and the Win8 desktop? Than use this combined with a matching background.
This is a skin for the newest Vistart build 3864 and higher. This don't work with older versions of Vistart.
How to use:
Download the newest Vistart version from Lee-soft.com[link] and install it. After that copy and paste the exe to the folder of this deviation.
Works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows7 and Windows8.
Simply try it.

CAUTION
BE CAREFUL WHILE INSTALLING VISTART. NEVER, REALLY NEVER INSTALL BABYLON TOOLBAR. IT IS A TRASHY MALWARE WHICH POSSIBLY MESSES UP YOUR COMPUTER. GOOGLE FOR IT TO SEE WHAT I MEAN.

vistart has 6 viruses on it as avg internet security picked it up before i even had the chance to install it so if you check it and find what i am saying is true then i will definetly not go ahead with the download

Good work peter you keep making great ViStart skins recently. Don't forget you can use multiple fonts in ViStart you don't have to limit yourself to just 1. Just make another Vifont XML element. I will feature it on my website soon enough. Also add limit="11" to

This deviation is compatible with XP, Vista, Win7 and Win8. So you can use it. It is only the menu on the left side. The rest is my normal desktop and has nothing to do with it.

Fantastic work Peter..i like search box on the top, reversed columns..its simply so great ui!!!!! awesome colours too. As for the Power button on the center no words..real metro and on a size that fits there !! I like also the user icon..if we could make it animated like a live tile it would be awesome

It is possible to animate the userpicture with Avedesk. Only i don't know if it works together with Vistart. I think i will try it.
The system is XP and the taskbar is normally set to fade out. I only made it visible for these screenshots.Normally it looks like that.[link]

About the tiles: I think it should be possible.These tiles are not much more than giant icons or app launchers.Maybe there is a way to pin them to the desktop.
