Description
So this is sort of like village built into the side of a cliff and there is an intricate cave network that links the dwellings and also leads up the surface.Can't remember where this idea came from but it made me feel pretty awesome for a while.
About 40minutes in Photoshop using iPhone sized canvas.

Just a few comments (and believe me, I had these comments given to me many many times!) Firstly, the light source isn't too clear. It looks like it is slightly to the right, but yep, just add more shadows and highlights while you paint. You can do this easily by painting shades of grey on a new layer, and set it to "multiply".
Secondly, use a reference photo/s for your paintings. Even the professionals do this. 
Overall, I like the idea, the way the buildings extend from the cliffside is awesome! The water is quite well done too. Nice work, keen to see more.

This dude gave me some epic advice on my artwork and trying it out has really made a difference to me painting and that's just after one day! You should look at this guy as his chops are awesome!

Yea those are some good ones you picked out there for sure. I like his use of colour in particular. I am putting his advice to good use in my latest piece that I have started work on.
