this took me waaayy longer than i'm proud of XDanyways, this is samus in my FAVORITE part of Brinstar from Super Metroid
look! i actually made a decent background!
that chozo statue took me, like 2 seconds, so try not to stare at it for too long.

i did realize the anatomy is really off.... i wish i wouldve made it better but i really couldnt have started over at that point (i started the drawing having no idea it would be anything more than a doodle XD )
and the shading... i had come up with a really good method like, 3/4 of the way through, but it wouldnt fit with the parts i already colored, so i was just like "screw it".

Looking at the Chozo statue makes me think of the theme that plays when you get a power up.

I might add to IE's critique, that samus' armor doesnt have muscles on the back. the back is actually alot less detailed, only haveing three sections across and three sections down. Like regular platemail but cooler. XD
either way, awesome job on the environment! its really pretty.

Samus's anatomy looks a little strange, but GREAT job on the colors, lighting, and depth! I can perfectly identify purple Brinstar!
