Description
Denna the overseer was not who she claimed to be. Her true name was Helen. Her sister Beatrice was one of the galley slaves that she drove. They planned to escape at the next port. They had taken every precaution, Helen had even made sure not to spare Beatrice the the lash lest the captain suspect their plan. What neither of them had counted on was the relationship that Beatrice's bench mate had with the first officer. She had sold both Helen and Beatrice out for extra rations and some extra shifts as water girl for the galley slaves. Life was harsh. For Helen it was about to get much harsher."You, girl. Can you wield a whip?" The captain asked Girl.
"Yes, sir," she said as she scrubbed the deck.
The captain threw the lash at her feet. "Congratulations, you just made overseer."

A few weeks back we got in a new group of temp workers. One of the girls that came in has the perfect face. She is a young bi-racial girl. The picture I made for the cover of my new story is almost an exact likeness of her but I drew it over a year ago. Isn't that weird? I was looking for anyone that had the face I wanted and the perfect one walks right into where I work. I will post a picture of the original drawing today. Anyway the main point is she has agreed to let me use her face as reference for an all new cover.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. People get too hung up on what the media tells them is beauty. I have always been attracted to people that I have a connection with spiritually far more than the stereotypical view of beauty. The one thing that I enjoy about getting older is wisdom. People should learn that if you are fortunate enough to make a spiritual link with another human being than you have been given the greatest and most important thing in life there is.

There's nothing wrong with good looks but sooner or later you have to deal with the person behind the face. If the person is ugly inside the outward appearance starts to fade into ugliness. There are several girls where I work that are very pretty that disgust me because they are petty and completely devoid of any real personality.

I was told that both had read "Fifty Shades of Gray". I think sometimes that girls act that way because they want to be punished. I also think they sense what I would do if I could. One of them started up a conversation with some other men about the book while sitting at a table right next to me. She never sits there and it seemed deliberate. I think she wanted to have me join in the conversation to feel me out. Is that possible or is that just my over active imagination. I really believe sexual submission to a man they like is a BIG fantasy for most women. What do you think?
