Chocobo Amigurumi. Might change a thing or two in later versions, but nothing major. Pretty pleased with it altogether. ^_^I now have a pattern up.

Okay, I don't know how this wasn't in my favorites too. It's absolutely adorable and well made! Cute! I might try this pattern eventually, but I've also been working on making my own chocobo pattern in the chocobo's dungeon style.

As for the pattern, only crochet is needed, and if it helps there are videos on youtube for crochet and amigurumi techinique. (Seeing could help learning hands on. ^_^)

=O! There are videos on youtube?! Heee! I shall look them up. Any particular ones you recommend for learning some techniques? Or for starting out? I lost my crochet books when I moved around a lot this last year or so..
^.^ I will definitely get looking into that after I move this next time, and settle in. It will give me something to do in my free time when I don't have regular internet, just sporadic internet. Lol.

Well they are all usually helpful because you can see what they are doing. There are alot of them, so it's not really a matter of recommending which ones are good, but rather which ones fit what you are trying to make. ^_^ (You can type in everything from amigurumi to ripple stitch and find it practically.) You can try this lady's (and she's only one example! 
If you are ever looking for something particular though, just type in the name of the stitch (like "double crochet") and you'll probably find a tutorial.
