Description A little art piece from my Silverwing story. Let me explain it a bit:

After Goth emerges from the Underworld, he waits for his promised mate Phoenix to emerge as well.
When Phoenix emerges from the Underworld, she is captured by two of Goth's Vampyrum guards, because she is not a member of the colony. The guards tie Phoenix up with vines, and bring her to Goth.
Well......when Goth sees her, he recognizes her instantly, and cannot help but smile at the irony of the situation. For you see, when Goth first met Phoexix, she tied him up and forced him to work in the Underworld Mines. And, being Cheif Builder, she was the only one who could free Goth from the vines.
So now, the tables have turned, and Phoenix is the one tied up, while Goth, being King, is the only one who will allow her to be free from the vines.
Revenge is sweet.

Phoenix.....

Goth........

Basically....lol

Goth was fun to draw, especially his expression. And the reason Phoenix looks short is because she is on her knees. All must BOW before the King!!!!!!

Nice work with her, it fits in well with the series style....

I'm not a big fan of that particular style, btw....I never liked the image of them as being so....human-ish. It works, but there could be other ways.

lol My story is close to being done. It takes quite some time to write it all up. Now I know how Oppel feels. So much writing!!!!

Yeah, my main goal about drawing Phoenix was to make her attractive. That way, she uses both her mind, strength, and good looks against you, and Zotz knows how much that drives Goth crazy.

I've always loved Goth and Phoenix as a couple too.....but after reading about their constant fights in FIREWING, its hard to think about them ever being mates.
But in my own Silverwing book, they get to know eachother for a few months before they realize how much they care about eachother .
