Description

That's very impressive. The shading is nice and the lines are very clear. I think the shoulders might be a bit wide. Very good!

Hello! I'm here from project comment. You clearly put some work into this, and it shows through in the quality. You have the anatomy near perfect, and the smoothness of the linework does a lot for the overall feel. The little details such as the correctly done ears and the flag pin does a lot for the realism of the sketch. If I would add or change anything, I think a little shading would go a long way for this piece. This piece is meant to be realistic, but it's hard to see when there isn't any shading under the neck or under the nose. Like I said, not a lot, but using the reference to place some realistic shading would go a very long way, I believe. Also, if this makes sense(hear me out), I would put a little less detail in the eyes. It looks like that this drawing was designed to be clean and simple, realistic without necessarily all of the nitty-gritty details. With such fancy and intricate eyes, it almost distracts from the rest of the piece and makes them feel unrealistically shiny, like an anime. I would either make them smoother and simpler, or use that style with the rest of the finished. But like I said, overall the drawing is very smooth and clean, and I can't wait to see it when it's finished and colored!

Oh, I did no shading for the reason of because I'm going to color it too. The fine details in the eyes were for a guide of where to color and not to for the light reflecting of his eyes. Thank you for your comment this helped me be more sure that it is now safe to go on to coloring xD I'll show you the final piece when it is done !
