I love the Continental livery, and I'm glad that United kept it. It symbolizes that together, they are Uniting the globe! And it's very fair, compared to what Delta did to Northwest. But, the sun will never set on Northwest Airlines, and they live on in some of my planesonas.
I did fly on United in summer of 2011 when the merger was underway. One of the flights was operated by Continental Connection, and we had the kindest flight attendant. There was a couple with a crying infant, and she was already getting them water warmed up to make a bottle before we had taxied to the runway. The pilot had to tell her to sit down so we could take off! That's what I like to see in an airline- people who truly care.

I personally love United, they are my favorite airline because I was raised flying United almost exclusively, the old gray united livery is what I remember from flying as a kid, and I love their fleet, modern, diverse, but still primarily Boeing.

I miss Continental Airlines.
I loved how Continental Airlines brought med range jet B737 into my home airport and CAL never had flight delays.
Until when merger took place, they use small jet like ERJ145, Q400 even a CRJ200s. It is ridiculous. Frequent delays and flight cancellations.

Yea, I always fly united, it is very much the same, for some reason they become one of the worlds largest airlines post merger, and only do direct flights on regional jets, or at some ridiculous time in the morning.

yeah animations are a pain, have only done like 2 GIF animations and they were only tiny little things like boxes moving across a screen
