the first in my series of mane six necklaces.
heavens, did Dashie give me trouble! I wanted a tasteful and uncluttered way of incorporating all of the necessary colors while still maintaining light blue as the main base. I went through so many versions that I lost count. I think I like what I ended up with. each of the rainbow beads is roughly the same size, but no two are the same shape. and each one is flanked by a white pearl to set it off from the blue a little bit. what you can't see here are the two rough purple pearls near the back of the piece.
materials include small faux pearls, light blue faceted plastic in varying sizes, red faceted plastic, orange cat's eye, yellow ceramic, green and dark blue glass, and purple freshwater pearls.
