Yep, still doing this series, albeit rather slowly. Gotta say, I am in love with how this turned out. I think I am finally getting the hang of this art thing. I may even start taking commissions if anyone might be interested. Hypothetically speaking, would people be interested in drawing commissions from me?Anyway, I thought this was a cute pairing since Thunderlane caught Rarity when she was falling and she gave him that super adorable hug. I still have no real OTP for Rarity, so for now this will do. Mini story time!
Ever since that fateful day when Rarity fell from the sky she's had a bit of a fear of flying. Her friends try to remind her how she enjoyed it when Twilight gave her glorious butterfly wings but she tells them her life flashed before her eyes when she was plummeting toward the ground. For the second time in her life. She was a unicorn for a reason, and her hooves needed to stay planted firmly on the ground. But when she begins to fall for Thunderlane he tries to show her flying isn't all that bad. Something tells me he may have succeeded here.

Thunderlane looks spot-on, anatomy-wise, and I love the look on his face. Rarity looks slightly off by comparison, but I suppose it's a bit trickier drawing a pony sitting upright. She's got a great facial expression, too. And the background is lovely!

Thank you so much! Yeah, there were a couple things I wasn't 100% happy with, but you know how you get tired of seeing something after working on it for so long? I was kind of at that place.
