Cool design, but the armaments look a tad underwhelming.

Let me elaborate on that so I don't sound like a jerk - I think the design is great.Β I love the "enhanced soldier" feel as much as the next guy.Β What I don't like is that the weapon he's using is just an SMG.Β Why not something with just a little more kick?

The MP7 is already a pretty big gun for CQB... more punch than a MP5 or UZI...

If you look at the large size here , you will see that it's got a whole $shitload of more punch than a standard SMG

I think i get what you mean. Point is you get a different weapon for different missions. This kind of weapon is for closed spaces. If you have a bigger weapon you might have problem around corners. Also you need speed and precision, not power. He is probably in a rescue or invasion mission. If you shoot through a wall you might hit your partner coming from the oposite door. If you shoot through the bad guy you hit the hostage.
