Hey, look what took priority
(But don't fret, I'm also already working on the comic)

So padawan Rey! I obviously gave her that funny padawan haircut Obi-Wan and Anakin had, and I tweaked her clothing a teensy tiny bit to resemble the old Jedi uniform a bit more. But most importantly, the lightsaber pike! She showed some skill with that staff-thingy in the movie, and with all these fancy-shmancy lightsabers recently (I'm thinking Kylo Ren's cross guard, I'm thinking Kanan's demountable lightsaber, Ezra's lightsaber/blaster hybrid, the whirly double Inquisitor lightsabers, Ahsoka's white and katana-hilted ligthsabers...), I thought why not revisit an old EU-weapon that isn't part of the canon anymore (well, technically you still have lightsaber pikes, but those are just discount double bladed lightsabers).
Style-wise, I tried to retain a rough drawing, and I was inspired by Hodges-Art 's amazing lightsabers for this one.

Ik heb haar duidelijk dat rare padawan kapsel gegeven dat Obi-Wan en Anakin hadden, en ik heb haar kleren een héél klein beetje veranderd zodat die meer op het oude Jedi-uniform leken. Maar het belangrijkste natuurlijk is de lightsaber pike! Ze was goed met dat staf-ding in de film, en met al die fancy-shmancy lightsabers recentelijk, dacht ik: waarom herbekijk ik niet een oud EU-wapen dat niet meer in de canon zit.
Stijlgewijs heb ik geprobeerd een ruwe tekening te behouden en voor de lightsaber heb ik me laten inspireren door Hodges-Art 's supercoole lightsabers.
