Wish the sun would shine here and melt this snow. This reminds me of Hawaii.

No dry - We are in a blizzard right now with 40 MPH winds and got about 16" of snow since last night and it is still coming down. Minnesota gets a lot of snow. I am close to International Falls

I hate it here! I am moving back to Kentucky in the spring or summer.

Is this where you come from: Kentucky?

I was born and raised in Louisville, KY and then I moved to Colorado for a job for 18 months and then went back to Kentucky and then went to Florida for 9 years with Hilton Hotels and then back to Kentucky and now I am in MN and it is not my kind of weather. I don't mind the snow, it's the freeze that I hate.
I miss Kentucky!! It is very pretty there.

It is not uncommon to see American people moving around during their life and career, in comparison to here. You have been staying at many non related places. It's amazing.

Moving around gets old after awhile. I feel like a Gypsy.

Not really - My uncle nicknamed me Gypsy after the famous stripper Gypse Rose Lee. When I was a little girl, I never wanted to wear clothes and wanted to run naked in the nature. So, my uncle started calling me "Little Gypsy" and "Gyps" - Been stuck with it all of my life. Lots of my friends and family call me Gyps or Gypsy. My real name is Sherry

Sherry? Good to know, I like it And I like the little story of the origin of Gypsy too

Yes, You can call me whatever you desire, but I am so used to being called G, Gyps, or Gypsy. My name was suppose to be Chere and the hospital nurse spelled it wrong.

That's interesting. I've seen "Sherry" many times but never "Chere".

They were trying to cut the word Cherokeedown to be a feminine name and it would be pronounced Cher Re - But it got messed up somehow. Many times I have thought about legally changing to the proper spelling, but there is so much involved in doing so.

And, anyway, many people would just mispell your name all the time, relying on the pronunciation.
