Despite how happy they were, it is time once again for Iris to leave, much to her (and Phoenix's) sadness. Iris knows she can't stay, until she is allowed back into the series. ...Will it ever happen? I still have faith it will, one day...Stranger things have happened in the world of video games...

Now, for my boring report on my drawing: I wanted to be a little more ambitious with this one. I'd one day like to have a style I'm comfortable with that isn't directly referenced from someone else. Guess you have to learn how to crawl before you can walk.

I am very unskilled with erasers. :/ I always end up either erasing too much or smudging the paper.

I wish I had a skin colored-colored pencil. 😆 Holy moly, that looks awful in retrospect.

I also got in too deep in the second panel before I realized that I should have given Phoenix a neck. I decided to overcompensate in the third panel. Thank heavens for the 3D models on the net, otherwise Nick would look like a dude with awful bedhead.

I’m leaving it here to motivate myself to get better. “From humble beginnings,” as they say. I’m not at all satisfied with this, and I’m not uploading anything else until I develop a drawing style that I think looks presentable.
