Thanks The painted one was the first creature I ever killed, skinned, cleaned, ate, and all that by myself, so it was kindof a proud memory. I'm not really in touch with traditional native american beliefs despite my heritage, but I have a general reverence for nature and the cycle of life and death. For me, it's kindof a symbol of that.

Thanks You should, it's a lot of fun. I'm by no means a painter, never been skilled in it, but you can just play with some basic shapes, contour it to the lines of the skull.
