Description
The prince can be a giant human, naga, inu, or neko. If you don't specify which you would prefer, I will choose. Also, the giant may be a princess if you prefer.No profanity and nothing fatal.
Use correct grammar, punctuation, and full sentences. No single word replies, please.
Keep your fetishes out of this.
If you wish to switch roles, I still expect you to provide a good opening comment, instead of just saying 'switch'
Choose either first or third person to write in, and stick to it. DON'T use second person.

Alex opened up the bag, placing it next to James. "Here...I'll put it on once you settle down inside, okay? I'll be careful not to move it around too much."

James nodded, stepping up to the opening. He glanced up at Alex again, then braced himself and climbed inside.

The inside seemed surprisingly roomy, the padding feeling almost sponge-like. Near the back was a scrap of fuzzy fabric, most likely intended to be used as a blanket, as well as a cotton ball that had been sewn inside of more fabric to make a pillow.
Alex bit his lip. "Do you like it?"

"It's fine," James said, a bit surprised. "You were prepared."

Alex smiled. "Thanks, but it wasn't me. Mom had it custom-made, since she and my father knew what was coming. I was only told I would have an interesting pet soon."

James nodded thoughtfully, getting settled. "It's nice, actually," he said.

Carefully, Aled closed the front of the carrier, keeping one hand on the bottom to keep it level as he put the strap over and around his shoulder and torso until the carrier rested against his right hip. "I didn't move you around too much, did I?" He asked, worried

"It's fine," James assured him. Although the ride had been unusual, it hadn't been unpleasant.

Alex sighed softly in relief as he picked up the breakfast tray with both hands. "Good. Tell me if I move too suddenly, okay?" He asked, starting to slowly slither out of his bedroom and into the hallway

"I will," James assured him, grateful that the fact that nagas had tails meant no rising and falling with the prince's stride.

Alex smiled, slithering through the halls, occasionally meeting a maid or butler on his way. Soon, he went down a familiar hallway, where a group of maids were huddled near a corner, nudging one forward.
Giggling, the maid slithered to Zakot's workroom door, knocking and quickly slithering away, the door being yanked open and Zakot hissing in displeasure at the maid as she rounded the corner to rejoin her friends, laughing.
Alex frowned. "That's not very nice of them to disturb Zakot while he's working...",

James looked up at the top of the bag. He couldn't see very well that was going on, but from the sounds and what had happened the day before, he could guess. And he silently agreed, they shouldn't do that.

Alex sighed, continuing on his way. "I'll ask mother to talk to them, she'll understand." He said, slithering into a kitchen area before long, the sizzling of various meats and the sounds of whisks hard at work filling the air, as well as a wonderful combination of smells.
A cook looked over, smiling. "Oh! Hello, Prince Alex~" They said, coming over. "Want me to take your tray?"
Alex nodded, handing it off to the cook. "Thank you. Say hello and give my compliments to the chef when you see him." He said, smiling sweetly.
The cook chuckled. "Will do." They said, then took notice of the pouch. "Oh, you got your pet already?"

James winced at the word 'pet,' but he knew it was true. At least Alex was treating him well.
Another naga, one of the apprentice cooks, looked up with interest from their station. "Ooh, is that the human?" they asked eagerly.

Alex nodded, gently putting his hand on the carrier. "Yeah...he's a human..."
The cook smiled. "Can we see? We've never seen a human before. They're so rare over here."
Alex hesitated. "Well, uh...he's...skittish around new nagas. Probably not a good idea..."

Inside the carrier, James breathed a sigh of relief.
"Aww," said the apprentice cook. "Well, maybe after he's acclimated a bit?"

Alex nodded. "Maybe...I have to see what happens. Thank you for the work you do." He said, quickly exiting the kitchen, glancing at the carrier. "Are you okay in there, James?"

James looked up at him. "I'm okay," he said. "... thanks for not taking me out."

Alex smiled softly. "I figured you wouldn't be comfortable if you were taken out in front of strangers...I don't know many of the kitchen staff. I'll only introduce you to people I normally talk to at first."

Alex blushed slightly. "Well...When I left you, and was getting the basin ready...I realized I left you in an uncomfortable position, seeing as he was a new naga to you. But when I came back, you seemed to be doing okay...But I promise, I won't leave you with a stranger to you again unless you're okay with it. Alright?"

Alex smiled softly. "But just in case I need to leave you here for whatever reason...you're not nervous around Zakot anymore...right? You like him?"

"Yeah, I like Zakot now," James said. "He's a good guy."

Alex nodded. "Alright. If for any reason I can't take you with me somewhere, I'll ask Zakot to watch you."

He smiled. "So at least now we have a Plan B. Is there anything you wanted to do today?"

James shrugged. "Do you have classes you need to go to?"

Alex shook his head. "My teacher needs to get over her sickness before I can go to classes. We can wander the garden again, or go to the farm area. Or even check in with Zakot so you can ask him about storage stomachs."

"That last one might be an... awkward conversation," James said with a nervous chuckle.

Alex frowned softly. "What do you mean? If you want to know something, and I can't answer, then we should ask someone who can, right?"

Alex smiled softly. "We don't have to ask him now if you don't want to. We can do something else."

James nodded with a relieved smile. "Yeah," he said. "Maybe later."

Alex smiled. "So what do you want to do? We can go almost everywhere on the Palace grounds. I'm assuming you wouldn't want a trip into town quite yet..."

James chuckled nervously. "No, I think I'd rather not be around that many strangers yet," he agreed.

Alex nodded. "So do you want to see the rest of the grounds, or shall I show you around the palace?"

"Whichever you like, your highness," James says with a smile.

Alex blushed, laughing nervously. "How much of the palace have you seen?"
(Any limit on what species are in the world? Also, can other species live in kingdoms outside of their own, assuming they're not at war?)

"I've seen what you have shown me, and nothing else," James admitted.

He paused to think. "So...Zakot's workshop, the kitchen, my room...and the garden, right?"

Alex smiled, making his way to the main entrance. "Can you see out of the bag okay, or do you want to be in my hands?"
