Scarlette was next for an upgrade bc her old one is 6 years old! 6 years! I'm...old. She needed an edgier outfit. It's interesting to note how her hair has changed slightly over time, and I'm definitely better able to draw her like I imagine than I was back then. Also: kept her sword, but like, double it. She dual-wields now. (It's a bi thing.)

Personality: Scarlette is tough, direct, competitive, and secretly longs for belonging and intimacy (though she isn't quite so self-aware about those last two). She tends to be focused and bold, and has selective patience.
Background: Growing up, Scarlette's parents never paid much attention to her or her sister, and therefore she was largely raised by Rouge. The two were very close when they were kids, but Scarlette began to feel simultaneously more suffocated and isolated as she got older. She began to act out, getting involved in minor crimes, which caused Rouge to become frustrated with her. She just wanted her little sister to stay safe. Scarlette was 16 when she met Rajani and was convinced to join her war camp. She's since flourished, finding Rajani to be a valuable mentor and confidant.
