Personality - Arcticrose is a gentle and timid she-cat with a love for everyone in the clan but suffers from her own crushing shyness although she has come a huge way since her days as a young warrior and can now hold a conversation much easier she still retains a calm and quiet tone, very mothering. Afraid of spiders and the other clans but she still tries to remain tolerant. She is a hopeless romantic having a mischievous interest in the love lives of her friends and family and is unashamed to be half of the sappiest couple in the elders den. She adores her family to a fault, unfortunately she is quite blind to the attitude problems of her sons who she orders with all her heart, in her eyes they are perfect angels and dotes almost endlessly.

Moonflare - Can you believe I used to be scared silly by him, he's a big softy, my moon and I love him more then I ever imagined I could love anyone. We're both elders now and I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my days snuggling with the most wonderful cat in the world.

Chillriver - My precious sun warrior he's a genius too, with some strange ideals but I adore her all the same. She and her brother are more then I ever dreamed for. I've heard he can be a little grouchy with others but I can't say I see what they mean. Ahh I can see it now, Chillstar, ahah maybe that's a little bold of me.

Shadowmoth - My little moon warrior, he and his brother get into all sorts of trouble but I love him just the way he is, he's a thinker and doesn't mind what others think, all good qualities and he's a joker too, I guess he didn't grow out of the flirting but so long as he doesn't go breaking any toms hearts I think it'll be fine. Shadowstar? Hmm no I can see he'd rather be Chill's deputy.

Solarstorm - My older mentor, I n-never really spoke with her. She lost her eyesight a little while ago and dad started visiting her in the elders den, not long after that he moved to the den with her. I suppose he's happy because he's found someone who needs him now that I'm older and yeah.

Ringshadow and Robinstorm - My cousins, I really just a-avoided them most of my life, I kinda regret it y'know. Robin was a little strange especially after his sisters death and then one day he disappeared, I've heard he's been scented around the neutral territory so I'm glad to know he's safe, I wish I'd interacted with him more, maybe then I would understand why he needed to leave.

"You're completely helpless. Just tell her already!"
His sister's words hung in his head for quite a bit longer than he had intended, and Moonflare was certainly not happy about that. To top that off, he could have sworn he had more time. Not that he had a plan or anything. To tell her. Thinking this he realized what a flat out lie it was, and felt frustration settling in. It was New-Leaf, and he had found a rose... In fact, he had found the perfect one, and he was holding now in his mouth, not having to be careful of the thorns for he had taken them off so he did not hurt her when he did give it to her. Truth be told... He really was nervous, more than he had for a while... Even if he didn't exactly get to it, he had been having troubles not thinking about her. That was not a problem at all. It was the simple fact of him knowing that it was driving him mad.
The chocolate tabby fidgeted softly with his paws, not sure entirely what to do. Moonflare had to find her, he had to. Where was she?? Anxiety nipped at his pelt closer than he would have liked. Taking a few calming breaths, he nodded to himself before he... He... Get it together, man. You need to tell her. You are going to tell her. He kicked himself inwardly, and without any more dwaddling, he began his search for the pretty white she-cat. She couldn't be that far, right?

Head drooping the little she-cat almost fell asleep outside camp, a terrifying thought but what possibly scared her more was that she immediately thought "It'll be alright, if I fall asleep. I'll be safe as long as he's nearby." she shook herself awake. She didn't know if she had the energy to return, she'd spent half a day scouring the territory for the perfect prey, she'd found it but now her paws her ragged and sore. She tucked her tail defensively around the rabbit she hid by her side in case anything would see it.
"The way to a toms heart is through his stomach!" someone Arcticrose didn't care enough to remember once said, she was still shy and unsure what she would do. All she could do was wait and hope that her father knew more about males then he did about females. Oh but her heart was beating so fast and loud she was certain Starclan could hear it.

His fiery eyes began filling with anxiety when he didn't find her at first. But, he saw her sitting in camp, and he felt his heart skip a beat. She was just so sweet, so beautiful. Moonflare almost didn't want to go over to her, and disturb her. But he had to. As he started towards her, he tried his best to hide the rose, putting it somewhere other than in his mouth.
Moonflare was going to do it. He was going to tell her. Tonight. He knew just the thing to do, too.

He's coming over, he's coming over, HE'S COMING OVER! her mind screamed and tried to turn her face the moment she saw him, white fur was not very good at hiding blush, in fact it looked slightly akin to a fire blazing over her face. She couldn't let him see her like this. She licked a blistered paw and drew it over her face trying to smooth her fur which felt to be standing on end in fear.
She felt a little vulnerable like this but he was a good tom, right? If he did notice he'd wouldn't humiliate her further, would he?
She smiled shyly at the dirt as he approached.

His heart seemed to flutter the moment he caught her eye, but she looked away, apparently flustered for some reason. Perhaps it was because he was giving her so much attention? She did seem to be the kind of cat who didn't much care for being doted on. Moonflare couldn't help but think about how cute she was at this very moment. The tom did notice that she seemed a bit red... It was probably the sun; the temperatures had been rising slowly but surely this past moon. That was probably it.
"Heya, Rosie!" He mewed, the nickname slipping out before he realized. It was his turn to turn ruby red, and he laughed nervously, clearing his throat gently.

Arcticrose stopped still replaying what he said over and over again in her mind. She was sure she hadn't misheard, looking up he looked almost as nervous as she supposed she herself looked as impossible as this concept was to her. Had he said it without thinking? She liked it she thought, it was a nice, no a cute she dare thought, nickname and made her feel warm and special for having a new name that no other cat had used before. Mossblaze used Artie which she had always thought sounds like a toms name.
"W- uh- Y-yes?" she mewed when she finally regained control of her tongue enough to speak.

Moonflare almost felt like turning tail and hiding in the elder's den. Sunny would be there, but then again, so would Mossblaze, and besides that he wouldn't do that to Arcticrose. He lightly rubbed one foreleg with the other, but he remembered what he was here for. Couldn't just stand here like a moron, especially with her stuttering like she was. If I didn't know better, I'd say she was flustered. That'd be ridiculous to think, though.
His ears perked, and he grinned more before he spoke. "So, uh, you'll never guess what I found. I saw it, a-and I thought of you. Do you want to take a guess? Wait, no, guessing isn't fair- . . . But you can take a guess if you want???"

If her head was on straight, surely the answer would be obvious. It was in her name. Of course her head wasn't on straight. In fact it was off somewhere in Starclan by now. So she wondered what to say, something smart maybe some toms liked smart she-cats but she couldn't think off anything.
"Uhh w-well I don't know, everyone's different. It could be anything, right?" she tipped her head slightly to one side and laughed a little, it was nervous but she hoped it would distract him from her bout of stupidity. She felt bright red now.

He reached into his fur, and his face flushed a deep red as he pulled out the still pristine rose. "t-tadaaa~" His voice had a sing-song lilt to it, and he almost couldn't meet her eyes. Moonflare was tempted to say it was because it was pretty like her, but that might be too forward. Too forward indeed.
"Well, not exactly anything, i-it had to be perfect!" He blurted, unsure of if he should say like her, so he only mumbled that part. A sheepish smile found his face, and he hoped she understood he was trying to give it to her.

"W-wow." She found it quite hard to speak after she saw the rose, all flowers were beautiful and the rose topped all in her head, but of course they were hard to find she'd only seen one other in her whole life "B-but that must have t-taken ages to find a-and the thorns..." She saw they were missing "Are you okay?" She asked a little too loudly. She'd gone to the same colour as the rose as well now, and she remembered Moonflare comparing her to the rose, surely toms didn't make such compliments lightly. Was it normal to do such for somecat you thought of as just a friend, she wondered. She hoped not.

I'm ok now that I finally was able to say that. You have no idea. He thought to himself, grinning sheepishly. "W-well. It really was nothing. Anything for you!" Moonflare realized what had slipped out. Wow. The chocolate tabby was the king of smooth. There was no opponent to the limits of his talent. His face was certainly dark now. It was most likely showing through the white fur on his face. "B-but, yes. I am ok. Better, in fact. Fantastic. For... Reasons... A-and... Stuff." you are going to impress her with the fact you have no idea what you are doing well done.

"O-oh that's good I'm so relieved, if you were hurt I dunno what I'd- well I guess I'd feel g-guilty..." she trailed off able to stop herself from saying anything too obvious. "S-so w-w-what's going on, you're feeling fantastic right so that means something good happened right. Something good like- like." she couldn't bring herself to voice her first thoughts so she closed her mouth.

Moonflare flushed a bit, rubbing his foreleg with one of his gentle paws. He didn't know why she was so kind and sweet to him, he as just a huge dork. "Well, honestly, it's uhm... I think it's because I found you, honestly, and uh..." The tabby lowered his head a bit, chuckling nervously. "Well, I've been wantin' to find a rose that.. Oh, you'd probably think I'm being silly. I have something to show you, too, because it's something that I think you would like, but we have to wait until the uh.. The sun... Goes uhm, down." The sounded shady. "I think that something is going to happen! In the uh, sky, I mean. uhm... Wow I'm great at explaining things. You deal with a lot of silliness from me, huh?"

"O-oh of course I'd to love to, go see the sky I mean, with you. Sure!" she answered feeling suddenly very upbeat and lifted from her paws. "A-and I don't really see you as silly, I mean you're so big and cool looking not really silly and if you are silly I don't mind, I think it's really cute- FUNNY really really FUNNY!"

Oh, it's not a problem! Life seems to be chaotic for all of us right now. I'll start here! I'm also sorry for not replying sooner, I took a nap. RIP me. I am excited if you want to pick up the Moon and Moss rp, because swiss cheese, so so fun. ^_^
Talking to his sister, even his nephew, neither of them helped much for what he needed to know. Moonflare felt nervous, even. But why? This wasn't the plan that he was going to go through just yet. It was obvious to him how he felt about Arcticrose, and he had been working hard to try and find a way to work up his bravery to tell her. From the way it was going, it looked it would be spring for his plan to be put into play. This was good, and meant he'd have time to find her a rose. He really hoped it would go as planned; even if she declined his feelings, at least he wouldn't be hiding it anymore.
It was a late afternoon when Moonflare returned from a hunting patrol, quietly chatting with one of the partners he had in this patrol. His warm amber eyes were half-lidded, a slight feeling of a cool rush as he entered the rocky camp. A bird was in his mouth, a small falcon that had been hunting one of the rabbits that one of the others caught. He was rather proud of it, but the feathers were tickling his grey nose. He dropped it off at the fresh-kill pile, sneezing as one of the feathers stuck to his nose. Shaking his head, he let it drift away before stepping a bit away from it.
He scanned the area, happy eyes trying to find one pelt in particular. Moonflare had a plan for tonight, and he'd found something to show her. If he could find her, he was going to have a good evening. After all, there weren't many times that this particular event could be seen. And he just had to show her.

The sound of paws interrupted the quiet slumber Arcticrose was enveloped in, the chocolate-brown dream butterfly with amber markings vanishing underneath her paws, stirring she lifted her head from the moss flicking her ear as a piece clung to it stubbornly, there were cats entering the den. A hunting patrol had returned she noted, she had recovered her strength from the dawn patrol earlier that day followed by training her new apprentice but her small body though fragile felt restored.
"Hello." she mewed shyly to some of the senior warriors entering, she was still nervous around a lot of the other warriors but she was improving lately. Dipping her head in respect she left the den wondering what would be best for her to do next, her stomach grumbled and her fur flushed pink as Robinstorm passed her giving her a somewhat mocking look. The fresh kill pile she decided.

He had to shake himself as he noticed a bright gaze seeming to glow from the elder's den. Moonflare knew she couldn't see him, but she knew he was there, and was almost giving him a knowing look. How she could do that, know exactly where you were without seeing, it was amazing. Spooky, true, but it was still concerning. It seemed unlikely that she knew what he wanted to do, but she must know he was going to look for Arcticrose. Odd feelings hit his chest as a particular white pelt entered the corner of his vision. Almost felt as though there was something horribly wrong, yet terribly right. Oh, how he hated that this was what he had to deal with every time that she was somewhere near him, yet he loved it so. Maybe someday she would feel the same. He would wait for her, until then.
His head lifted, a grin falling to his face, making sure to brush yet another little feather that clung to the edge of his nose. He stood, tail high as he tried to run over what he would say. Things almost always came natural to him, but when it came to her, he always felt nervous, jittery even. That was fine, it was a change, but it was so confusing. Moonflare tried to shake away his confusion once more, and he began to trot towards her. "A-arcticrose!" The tabby mewed, smiling at her with excited eyes.

Arcticrose flinched slightly from the surprise of her name being called so suddenly but she quickly settled, Moonflare, the tom who had been taking up most of her thoughts lately. She was naïve but not a complete mousebrain she had realised what she felt for the older warrior was beyond clanmates and then beyond friendship. She didn't however believe he would feel the same way, she hoped of course, why wouldn't she. But she couldn't put herself into her own world where everything was perfect, from a young age she had known life could be cruel, very, very cruel. Even so she felt her face grow warmer against her will as it flushed "H-hello!" she managed to reply her mind paused, her ears had heard him stutter. Wasn't she the one who stuttered? Maybe something was bothering him. Trouble maybe?
"Is anything, uh something the m-matter?" his eyes were bright though...

He couldn't help but smile more when she looked his way. The tom knew she had a certain effect on him, more than he might have thought possible, and he was fine with that. Butterflies pranced about in his belly, sometimes it felt like he'd been thrown into frozen waters, but in a good way. It seemed hard to explain, but he wouldn't trade it for the world. Why would he? Moonflare hadn't ever felt this way before, or if he did it was never so strong as this. Maybe someday, he would tell her, but today was not that day. Just a bit more planning, and he'd do it. It wasn't perfect, not yet, at least.
Her question confused him, until he'd realized he'd stuttered. That was new... No going back now, he supposed. "Oh, nothing's the matter. I was just shocked to see you so soon. I was just looking for you, after all." He couldn't help but feel slightly anxious. But, that wasn't too be helped.

"O-oh" Arcticrose mewed not quite sure what to think of this situation anymore. Good things didn't usually come from looking for someone did they? "I was out earlier today, d-dawn patrol I was sleeping s-so, an-anyway I'm awake now."
She paused looking up quite shyly, she wasn't great at telling how others were feeling, she could tell the basics if a smile was fake, she supposed he looked happy enough but the small she-cat had a history of not trusting and being flat out afraid of toms. She was still adjusting to having romantic feelings for the first time on top of that. Shaking her head to push down all the nonsense in her head she continued.
"So.. why were you looking for me?" she asked cautiously
