Had a grrrrr8 time making this. The tank was inspired by the game advance wars. If you know the game u can see it has "Orange Star" on the tank. If u didint realise by the colour.Hopefully some cute little rabbits will bite the dust.
Tryed to make the grass look seriously toony and this made the job quite tough. Loads of Polys=Super long render time. 17hrs 31mins 21 secs. Im just glad it's done. Everything u see is 3d Studio Max 8 and a few slight (very slight) touches in PS CS2.

If yer using 3DS Max, there should be a motion blur effect somewhere so you don't have to put the white streaks in there.

You should vary your scaterring. the grass, although toony, is all uniform, making it a pattern rather than an area with grass. See the tut in my gallery if you don't know scaterring, and used array for this..
Nice image tho. Cartoony in all respects.

Do u know what could've been quite cool. Is instead of having the white lines to show the shells' speeds, you could have done the matrix-style effect? just a suggestion

Yep...this is it.
I actually have a render with that but I've seen so many ppl doing that so I decided to scrap it. I also wanted to put flower in but that's satgay.
