Keep in mind I'm a Progressive myself.Β I believe in working towards social and economic equality.Β I just don't believe in this Neo-Liberal "social progress based on identity politics" bullshit.Normally I would put memes in my scraps, but since a lot more thought and effort went into this one than the others, I'd consider it a work of art in its own right.

Just to point out that a Neo-Liberal is not a other word from Modern-day so called Liberals. But accuracy someone with a fetish for Capitalism. (I guess I would be a Neo-Liberal. Though being a Anarchist might disqualify from that label.)

The people who call themselves "progressives" in today's world are against individual liberties and for corporate liberties.Β They are by definition conservative.Β They ostensibly believe in socialism, but really their belief in socialism basically amounts to an objection to meritocracy and the belief that they are owed free shit just for being alive.Β There's nothing principled behind it, just narcissism and the subconscious realization that they're too weak and stupid to compete and the playing field must be rigged in their favor forΒ them to get ahead.Β When it comes to actually taking down the big corporate monopolies that have proliferated due to loose regulations, they don't seem to give a shit.
Economically I would call myself a centrist.Β I realize the benefits of capitalism in that there is an element of natural selection and meritocracy to the system.Β However, I don't believe in a system that's free of regulations, because such a system makes it not only permissible but also imperative to do evil for one's own personal gain.Β In an anarcho-capitalist system, the companies that are the most evil tend to destroy the competition, so if one company's doing it, all the other companies have to do it just to survive.Β Anarcho-capitalism doesn't just allow for corporate corruption, it demands it.Β That's why I disagree with anarcho-capitalism.

Equality of opportunity is great. Equality of outcome is what destroys a nation. A brain surgeon shouldn't make the same dollars per hour as a burger-flipper. I will never make as much money as a brain surgeon but it is my CHOICE to choose to work R&D instead because I am content with the money I make and I'm happy with what I have. I don't care if someone makes ten dollars per hour or a hundred.
