Description
Been spending a bit of time blocking out this shot. I'm calling this "Frame Zero" though if it does appear in the animation, it may be as much as minute in - I'll be working forward and back from this point.This represents a fair bit of proof-of-concept, including being set up to animate the console and scanner displays, mirror angles, etc.
Hopefully I'm ready to start moving forward on this now...

Thanks - yeah, esp. with this many mirrors and multiple reflections. I still may move the little guy on the right a bit to "its" left so the reflection in the second mirror works better. I was having problems with that alien casting a noticeable shadow on the main character. Finally gave up and turned off shadows for that light - looks just fine.
BTW: the only lighting is an infinite light to simulate the sun (at a pretty low angle, as you can see along the top of the back wall) and the internal lights that came with the scout ship.

I'm a bit slow but I now realize that the girl is one of the aliens who has been transmogrified.
