Description Note: this movie has sudden camera movements that could be nausea inducing and loud sounds that could be jolting.  For more, see below...

Çz had done dozens of TransMogrifications™, but each new species they attempted to duplicate had special challenges.  However, due to the wormhole fiasco, and Çz's subsequent reconstitution to the most recent backup copy, the knowledge of these humans from the home world briefing was no longer in Çz's memory.  Çz did worry that these humans seemed much like their older forms, from before the Great Change.  Could Az handle the challenge?

Here it finally is - the next view in the series and the first "head" based Point-Of-View (POV).  As such, there's no floating, but there are some pretty quick head movements.  I've tried to soften a few of those by animating the camera platform (there are two cameras - so I can do stereo), but in a couple of spots it's a bit hard to follow.  The audio has a wide dynamic range: some pretty quite background sounds and some sudden, loud sounds.

Hopefully this one answers a few questions, and maybe asks a few more.     For example, we may have enough now to solve the mystery of  .

But do we know what Dn is doing with that scanner, and what is with those sounds off to the left in the beginning??

As always - I highly recommend full resolution, full screen, and headphones cranked up! (but be careful / forewarned - there's some loud sounds in here!)

Dang!  I love this every time you share a new view.  I just noticed that everyone is breathing... that wasn't as obvious to me before.  Is the upper left image on the tablet our POV guy is holding tied into the hand scanner the dude stage right is holding?  So much detail and so many points of view.  Amazing, Johnny!

Ah - glad you saw this one too - and liked it.   Yup - everyone's breathing, all the time.

It does look like a tablet, doesn't it?  But it's just the top of the big red console Çz is standing behind.  But the upper right image is indeed the same as what shows on the hand scanner (and it turns sidewise because Dn turns the scanner sideways).

One thing though - he's actually... stage left.   I know I got screwed up on that because of the old Hanna-Barbera cartoons where Snagglepuss would "exit stage left" and go off to the left.   But I spent just enough time in high school to learn that it means left or right - from the point of view of the performers on the stage.   The idea being it's less confusing to the performers if the direction is "stage right" rather than just left or right.

At least - I think that's right.

Thanks so much, esp. for noting the details - it's always fun when folks pick things out that I put there - in some cases, many months ago!!

Hugs.

I'm with radaVid on this one.... 3 views all at the same time and  SFX

Sadly hoi polloi are sure to take it at its 02:34 face value, oblivious of all the wonderful "shenanigans" and "wizardy" behind each frame
(then again, these self same people probably sit back and actually enjoy CGI in movies rather than dissect it.....)

Ah - thank you, sir!!

Yeah - there's a lot going on and i suppose the aspiration here is to make it look so real that most folks do just sit back and watch it.  Still, I appreciate you taking the time to check it out and see some of the fun I've woven into it.    Did you notice a couple of early sounds that they seem to react to?

Alas, I discovered later that the cameras were not aligned correctly - the 3D version is a bit of a challenge to watch (it was really hard to watch until I discovered I also had left and right switched!).  I've since realigned the cameras and need to decide if I want to re-render the whole lot.  I'm rendering all of the POVs again with Az wearing the same outfit as the others, sans belt and boots.   The concept has its charms - I'll be posting some of that at some point as well.

Thanks again for checking it out and commenting - always appreciated - and good to see you back with us again!

Very cool!  The only problem I have with this is, it gets very loud without warning.  I might be the only person I know that wears earplugs to the movie theatre because of my problem with loud noise.  I am probably on the autism spectrum, but have just plugged away my whole life as a 'normal'.  The visuals are great.

Yeah it does...  and I compound the problem by asking folks to crank it up!   Hmmm.   Yeah - I'm on that spectrum too  but loud sounds haven't been a problem for me..  well not much past 5.     I should give better warning then.

Sorry for any discomfort.  Glad you liked the visuals - and thank for the comments - this one doesn't seem to have resonated as well as the previous one.

Thanks!
