Closing in on three years of working on this. I decided to post this ahead of the final version, which is coming soon. This is from an initial render done several months ago. There are a number of glitches, especially with respect to the smock / dress (which is a large part of why I decided to abandon it, plus, well... the obvious reason) and a number of other issues including that I didn't do the 3-D properly for the displays. Not a problem in this 2-D version.

I've noted before that my plan all along was to go 3-D; that this would be too busy to make sense of in 2-D, and I think that might be right. More importantly, I think it looks pretty much like I hoped in 3-D. Some of that will be coming very soon. There are a few items in this that will make more sense in the 3-D version - the X at the beginning will be for eye-alignment (especially in the cross-eye versions) and the "recombobulation" effect is off-center because this is the "left eye" view.

I also flipped it left for right, partly so I could "see" it. Been working on this so long, it's hard to focus on it intently for very long to find any problems. It at least looks a bit different flipped.

This is most likely the final version of the soundtrack, which to be truthful, was the part I had my creative eye on from the beginning.

I recommend viewing full screen, and with headphones, if possible, as that is what I mixed it to.

I'm certainly interested in comments. I hope to have a final version (or more likely, several different 3-D view options) pretty soon.

The "floor" is a pattern I found on the Internet and there are a few other items like the Poser stock Grey Alien, etc.

Most of the rest is the result of some python programming on my part for the dome, the displays, the transitional morph objects, etc.
