My wife ended up in the ER this week with severe back pain. As they were wheeling her off to put her in the MRI contraption I said to her, "This is where you get your super powers." It made the nurse laugh very hard. Then I sat down and drew this character.

I have a cousin who's had to deal with those since he crashed his motorcycle into a ditch a few years back. It's never fun. I hope your wife can pull out of this one and get active again.
