Apolo Ohno Progress 3Working on the body paint. i still have some more blending to do and still fine lines. But its all starting to come together now
I removed some of the lineart on the inner parts where im mostly done with the lines. Face still needs some work...
Im going to start tackling the hair/face next

To do this i took a picture, drew an outline and drew a basic outline of it. Then i split up into several layers. Like the face is on its own layer
I then picked 1 flesh tone color and overlayed the whole face area with that color. After that i took lights and darks of the same color sample and filled in globs of color in different areas, referring to the Reference pic.
After i had all the globs on, i worked it all in with the blur and smudge tool.
Right now im adding in more definition to some of the bony parts and to the face. and im cleaning out the outer edge and removing the lineart.
Im starting on the hair next, then back over to some more details in the face and eyes
