THE BASICS

Build: Rather feminine, Damien sports a slender body build similar to his mother. His tail has a sickle shape, eyes sharp with dark accents around the edges. Ear-tips are semi-rounded, and his cheek fur is obnoxiously fuzzy when not curving down. Well groomed.
Scent: Mint, hints of sage and earthy undertones.

- When it comes to doing what needs to be done, Damien is no slacker. He'll get it done himself or he'll find someone to do his dirty work for him, though he much rather enjoys being the one with his face up close to the result.
- Around others, Damien's ego is inflated to the point his anxiety often becomes nonexistant. He'll often brush off comments or make sarcastic remarks towards them, and he rather enjoys being the center of attention even if his first response is rather unsavory. He enjoys getting what he wants when he wants it, and if that takes a flash of teeth and a bat of the eyes, then so be it.
- Silver-tongued: Once fueled by his ego and heritage alone, Damien's mouth quickly became adapted to using more... unconventional methods of retaining someone's trust and loyalty. He has a keen eye for what words to use to gain someone's information, and if his words alone fail him-- then he will use his body at will.

- Damien is religious to the point that he will easily strike one down if they do not follow the same rules or principles. He will often find himself wishing to 'correct' those mistakes of others, but more often than not will simply pray for their demise.
- When Damien becomes infatuated with something (be it a person or thing), he mistakes this interest for obsession and will be unable to get his mind off of it, no matter how hard he may try. He tries to distance himself from many people and things for this reason, and will often lash out if someone tries to get close. He does not like the distractions.
- But when he does fall to his obsessive tendancies, he will grow possessive. To the worst of it he can and will lash out at anything that gets in the way of him and his prize, and will want to spend all of his time fixated on that something.

- Anxiety, however, is Damien's best friend. It can spike over simple matters such as what he is called or where he is, and he often does his best to tamp it down lest he show sign of weakness. His anxiety causes him to speak rapid-fire at times, and he may get quiet in order to regain his... normal heart rate if he had pushed himself too far. However, this only becomes unbearable when he's left to his own devices. In the company of others, it tends to be lessened unless he's forced into a situation he'd normally never be in.
- Collected: Growing up under the harsh remarks and passing whispers of Vektreni and foreigners alike, Damien's anxiety became his greatest asset alongside his paranoia. No longer does the boy panic, instead his anxiety turns to adrenaline under the heat of the moment and pushes his otherwise collected nature into one of impulse and greed. He readily strikes if prompted, however, his silver tongue usually saves him from the majority of the damage he could do.
- Another part of his issue is his paranoia, something dragged down through the bloodline by his own mother. It may not be as bad as he portrays it, but his first instinct normally falls under the lines of 'classify this as a threat, they are not welcome here.' It is extremely difficult for someone to get passed that first line of defense, for when they do, Damien doesn't know how he'll respond.
- Oversuspicious: Paranoia, inherited by his mother, has turned the much older prince into a wolf who seeks out the worst of people so he may rationally dispose of them if the time comes. He isn't one to play with others just for show and often has other motives outside of entertainment; usually these motives involve things better left unsaid.
- What he does know is that he's snarky, sarcastic and a bit of a snob. He'll often take out his frustrations through sideways comments about someone or something, and his sarcasm is never in the fun, happy go lucky way. He normally always means some, if not all, of what he says. And his snobbish behavior is due to his bloodline, something he does not overlook when assessing other wolves. Even those in Vektren territory.
- Arrogance is ultimately his key feature. If he does not believe it personally, there will be no changing his mind. He is blind to how others view and see his family, and if someone were to speak ill of him or anyone else he is mutually accepting of, the little lord will lash out- as per usual. He does not hide his frustrations well.
- Once unable to control his irrational arrogance, Damien uses this as leverage and bait when confronting someone of a lesser status. His coy amusement for insults makes him prone to overlook the usual remarks he'd received so often growing up.
- Manipulation, Damien has learned, is key to surviving in this life. He will use any and all things in his power to get what he wants, be it for himself or the good of the pack. He has little empathy for other's emotions and will savor the delicate nature of those too foolish to hide their feelings. Those who do fall prey to this, however, he sees as unstable and irrational.
Pre-Group History: Following Hekate's desire to produce heirs to the Vektreni throne, Andras had become her target. Thus they had four children, and therefor Damien was born.

- Believes his family's 'red' coat colouring is rare and thus inflates his ego even further.
- Believes all wolves that do not belong to his family's bloodline are of 'lesser' or more mundane qualities.
- To be viewed as an 'equal', they must prove themselves to him as someone worth his time. Otherwise, he'll never let them get close.

RP: Snake Charmer [Pt. I] [Pt. II] After promising his uncle he would listen to what the fool had to say, Damien realizes he may not be the type of wolf to trust- with anything.
RP: It's Rabid Ragweed takes Damien on a tour of his usual routine as an enforcer. Things get interesting- and quickly.
