Description

After finding themselves in the middle of a war they know nothing about with no true skills to aid the strangers and their battles, Isaac secludes themselves within the safety of Misthelm. The sounds had grown distant after a command was fired off, a retreat of these ravenous white wolves who dotted the horizon, and they were headed for the little island Isaac had spotted from the coast just a few short hours ago.

There is nothing they can do but wait. To throw themselves into the fray, untrained... noble, maybe, but were they willing to risk death so early on in their journey? What would their Aunt say? That they were a brave fool, but a fool nonetheless?

Would they see their cousins again?

It was almost panic inducing if not for their slow, counted breaths. Just breathe. Think on it. Do not rush into unknown water.

Isaac shivered, and the roar of the battle raged on, but all they could feel was the cool chill as their mind fixated on other things.

They would sit and they would wait, and when the dust settled... Isaac would be there to lend their nimble paws to anyone who might have need of them.

All they had to do was wait.
