“Among the tangled roots and all seeing trees of the fog-coated forests in Balefũr lives the infamous ‘Red’. There are many names one may associate with her, but it’s easy to determine that the Suka in question is the one who runs the pack of ghosts and ghouls deep in the heart of a strange forest. Often times, suka accidentally run into her just on the outskirts of the eye woods, although they tend to think she’s one of the fabled spirits that lurk just beyond their line of sight and think nothing of the encounter. Sometimes they ask questions and return to their homes or friends with words of warning or advice, other times its spun tales about the blood-coat dog who nearly killed them where they stood. Whatever the case may be, Red has a face that is almost unforgettable- and unmistakable.

Her motives are questioned by those beyond the Coven, but for those that tell their encounters of her truthfully, she’s been nothing more than a quiet voice with a pool of peculiar words and wisdom to share. She’s classified as selective and quaint, careful with how she speaks and who she speaks it to. It’s known that ‘Red’ is not her true name, but one obtained at a young age by the suka who ran the Coven before her. The variations of it spur from those who try to speculate her true name, or those who see her unfit for one, and oftentimes these names will be spoken to her face or to the suka of her Coven.

It seems that the only dogs who truly know just who Red is are those that are a part of her everyday life. Even then, there are many things about Red that remain a mystery.”
