[The Rift] Little Drifters
Chenoa drew back her top lip and lunged at her prey, skimming two slimy bodies with her fangs- she
quickly closed her maw and brought their lives to a swift end. To her surprise, she had caught her first water-dwelling prey.
A rush of excitement filled her as she pulled her head out of the water with two fish hanging limp from her mouth,
"Luchian! I goss some!" She let out a muffled cry of joy, "I did it!"
"That's fantastic!" He called back, throat raw and warm with emotion that seemed to seep its way through his bones. I'm so proud of you, Lucian.
Octavia's voice was warm in his ears, one of the last things she had said to him before she left. "You did fantastic. I'm happy for you,"
Lucian replied next, the sincerety of it making his cheeks hurt as he waded back through the water towards his packmate. Packmate.
A collab between myself and paperstray !
She did the sketch and colouring while I did the linework, BG and shading.
I absolutely love how this turned out and their dynamic is so fun to work with <3
