Yep, I'm back, specifically for the ponging! I am putting some of my fractals up in here, but not my good work. I've just gone through an horrific round of having to get things taken off of Pinterest, after finding my work "pinned" there by other people that I don't even know! I don't want my work on that site, period....but trying to tell some folks that, even nicely, just doesn't work! I had to contact the admins numerous times before getting it straightened out, and them to take it down. But I'm gonna have to keep an eye on that site, as the same person, and others, may try to put more of my work on there. Sigh....and I've taken down almost all my work off of redbubble for that very reason, too. It seems that that's where they were mostly finding it, even though I'd already disabled (supposedly) the sharing icons. I do know that a LOT of artists work is on Pinterest, taken from DA and RB, as well as other sites. There are fractals all over the place on Pinterest, many from artists I know here and on Redbubble. Basically, if you don't want your work on Pinterest, you have to make a lot of effort to keep it off there....word to the wise....but glad to see you again, hon!

I sometimes use Pinterest to look for new recipes, I find it very useful for that. I can imagine it would be very frustrating if you didn't want your work on there, though. The images on it are more like a visual bookmark, however, and will take you straight back to where they were originally uploaded. A little like with google images, the images are from all over the www. and once you click on it will take you there.

Yeah, I realize that, but there's nothing to stop anyone who wants to from doing the "view image", "save image as" trick, then printing out your artwork to use as they wish, without any acknowledgement, or paying for a print of it. That's the bottom line issue. Anyone could save it, print it, and then use it in various ways, and you'd never even know about it. That totally bites. Sigh.....
