Description
My partner for Pokémon Sun is Incineroar. I think Incineroar is an awesome Fire starter, having excellent Attack and great bulk. It is slow like many of the Pokémon in Alola, but it doesn't have glass cannon issues like Emboar and every other Fire starter. Incineroar gets two signature moves: Darkest Lariat and Throat Chop. Darkest Lariat bypasses the foe's stat changes and is required for the Z-move Malicious Moonsault. Throat Chop is a powerful Dark move that attacks the target's throat to prevent them from using sound-based moves for 2 turns. Not a very fair way to fight, and the animation shows how brutal it is by having the colors invert briefly. Other perks include a good movepool with moves such as Acrobatics, Earthquake, and Leech Life as well as an immunity to enemy Pranksters.

Design-wise, Incineroar is definitely not lacking in the manly department with its strong arms and top-heavy build. With its mask-like face and fiery belt, the design is a shout-out to Tiger Mask. The animation for its special attack shows it using its... crotch fire for using Flamethrower and even shooting a web for the Bug Z-move Savage Spin-Out. I particularly like Incineroar's eye color: green with yellow sclerae, just like some other big bad kitty that I may have talked about and drawn a lot...
