beautiful piece. the blue-green gradient gives it a feel of being at sea, or at the beach because of its sand-like texture, matching the blue shell. I love the lighting, and the subtle shadow of the shell. the leathery texture of the shell is softly illuminated by the light and progressing towards the dark parts of the shell. although seemingly insignificant, the little cracks in the shell gives it a sense of delicacy.

simplistic and calming. this is worth a fav. keep up the good work!

I am looking at it again and I must say (after watching the others) that this is my favourite of the shells series.
I like the composition (the shell is exactly in the right place within the photo), I like colours and light.

very pretty lighting-- i love the blue--- it might be very striking if you tried direct complements ( like blue and orange) the lighting would be more striking ( im thinking back to the starfish one-- green and yellow if my memory is correct).. anyway, great shot-- you rule in the studio... im gonna gte to all the pics i missed later tonight-- my promise
