Hi, there! Sorry to bother you. Could you make a tutorial about this with Adobe Photoshop 8.0? That's what I have, and I'm afraid the tutorial doesn't work very well with Photoshop 8.0. Thanks so much!

hey got question, this lineart tut is very good, but pen tool takes me ages, and mostly, i don't like outcome. i use photoshop CS series, but i don't really like it (pen tool, ps cs is great). oso i mostly do freehand, but i never get my lines very clean, and even if i use 1 px'd brushes, the lineart always seems very "fat" i know that when you press Shift nd then make a new point, it makes a straight line from the first point to the point yuo just made. but is there also a tool / trick to help your curves come out better ? i mean like, when you've drawn the line, that yuo can mess around with it till it fits your taste without having to draw the whole thing again 100000 times ... also, do you have any tips for me to reduce the "fattyness "(see above) from my lines? i work mostly on 1240*1000 pixels with a resuolution of 210 ppdi (pixels per inch)
thank you very much

sorry i dunno how to help you! i do 100% pentool;
about lines width, the only thing u can do is to
work bigger ur lines, and just shrink your drawing
later on, lines will be thinner...
sorry! hope i could help you more!

I've always had trouble using the pen tool in Photoshop! I work by manipulating anchor points in Illustrator but now I understand more about how it works in Photoshop. Thank you so much for posting this! I think I'll be trying something in Photoshop now ^0^
