Undertale AU time? Undertale AU time.I enjoy a selection of Undertale AUs, especially those relating to Flowey being somehow redeemed. Floweypot AU is my favorite. Angry little houseplant. Yis.
This is possibly the only Underfell AU fanart I'll ever make though. Purely because Alpha Flowey is literally the only thing I like about this AU. The general theme however... just not my thing.
Still, I just couldn't help falling in love with this Flowey.
This design of Alpha Flowey in particular was made by devichonee ( devichonee.tumblr.com/post/133… ) on Tumblr. Unfortunately, I don't know their deviantart, if they have one, but still kudos to them!!
There's actually an opposite version of this drawing that I'm still working on which is obviously going to be Omega Flowey, the official nightmare-inducing character. Both drawings were supposed to be posted at the same time, like a kinda both sides thing, but with all the stuff going on right now, Omega is gonna take a bit longer than usual, so I'm holding it off until next week. Here's Alpha Flowey for now.
Bad Flowey's motto in Undertale is "Kill or be killed," so naturally, the good-hearted Flowey's motto would be "Live and let live," right?
Right?? I think so. I like it. It's fitting.

I presume, that Chara/Frisk have to face Alpha Flowey as Final Boss on the Genocide/Neutral (Only if you killed +50% of all Monsters and King Asgore) Route, while during the Pacifist (3 Phase Transform (2nd Battle against King Asgore, which unlike in Undertale would swipe Toriel, Papyrus, Sans, Undyne and Alphys aside and storm into the Battle)/Neutral (Only if you spared +50 of all Monsters and King Asgore in the 1st Battle) Alpha Flowey would assist Frisk during the Battle (by shooting green healing Bullets "Real Friendliness Pellets" in the Soul's Direction. Missing them would cause them to fly towards King Asgore and hurt him instead (the same Way how in Pokemon Fairy Type Moves deal more Damage to Dark Type Pokemon)), while wrapping his Vines around Asgore to give Chara/Frisk a Chance to free one of the 6 Souls and, after freeing all 6 Souls, transform later into Asriel, while King Asgore undergoes the same Transformation Asriel had in Undertale (Happens only on True Pacifist Route).
At the Beginning, Flowey would give a Chance to surrender (Only possible on the Neutral Route).
Surrendering would end the Battle and make Alpha Flowey ask to "borrow" temporarily Chara's/Frisk's Soul.
Accepting the Request would give Alpha Flowey (he takes a galvanized Form, similar to the Avatar State from ATLA and TLOK) the Possibility to create a temporare Opening in the Barrier (Neutral Bad Ending) or shatter the Barrier permanently (Neutral Good Ending). After leaving the Underground, the 7 Souls would leave Flowey's Body and Alpha Flowey would revert to normal.
Declining the Offer would make Alpha Flowey questionize Chara's/Frisk's Choice. After declining the Offer twice, Alpha Flowey would revert to normal and tell then Chara/Frisk, that in that Case they should prepare for their Life in the Underworld.
Refusing to surrender would trigger the Battle (On the Genocide Route, Chara would shatter the "MERCY" Button immideately, in a similar Way King Asgore did in Undertale, except that Chara pushes the "FIGHT" Button for this). At the "1st Phase", Alpha Flowey would (with a reluctant Look in his Face and only at the Neutral Route and without that freaky Face , which still makes me say: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT CRAP?!) use Attacks similar to the ones of Omega/Photoshop Flowey, except that they would be way easier to dodge and the Gaps between the Attacks are longer (That doesn't apply to the Genocide Route, because Alpha Flowey is aware of Chara's (awakened) evil Nature. During the "Soul Segments" (which Beginning will be signalized by the Glowing of the related Petal) instead of the "ACT" Button, there would be the "FIGHT" Button (And at the Neutral Route would be at the same Time the "MERCY" Button avaible, signalizing, that Alpha Flowey has still Hopes for Chara/Frisk to reform). pushing it would send all of their "related Item"-shaped Bullets straight towards one of the 6 Souls, shatter the Monitor, "Corrupt" the Soul, which causes it to split in Half and turn grey (the Shattering comes at the End of the Battle) and cumulatively (For each corrupted Soul) recover 1/6 of the MAX HP. During "Phase 3-5" between the "Soul Corruptions" Alpha Flowey wouldn't (only at the Neutral Route) SAVE and LOAD to hit you with his Attacks. After the Corruption of all 6 Souls, all of their Bullets shatter the Monitor and recover the HPs to the MAX, while Alpha Flowey's Defense drops to 0 and his Attack Strength is halved. At the "Final Segment" after each Blow, Alpha Flowey would shed Tears (and at the Neutral Route, the "MERCY" Button would appear at the same Time like the "FIGHT" Button). After "defeating" Alpha Flowey, he loads File 3 and seals the Soul inside a Bullet Board so small, that it's impossible to move and would tell you, that he's going to keep you in there forever. Then comes the Part, where the 6 Souls shatter and Flowey takes his withered Form. Then Chara/Frisk have the Choice to kill/spare Flowey, which is cowering in Fear and sobbing about his incoming Death (killing Flowey would make him say "How could I believe, that a Human could be different from Monsters?" and turn into a withered Flower afterwards)(sparing Flowey would make him say, that he doesn't trust you for hurting him . You'll have to spare him, until he's aware, that you are serious about sparing him. After sparing him 13 Times, Flowey thanks you for sparing him , just like at the Beginning of the Game, followed by the Sequence, in which they don't leave the Underground. On the Genocide Route, self explaining)

I do have a lot of Time. Anyone can do it with enough Spare Time for it. For Instance, in the Episode "Mr. Monk gets married", Joshua Skinner (A Prospector from the Industrial Age, which killed his Partner Gully Watson to keep the Gold all for himself) didn't trusted Banks in his Days. So he decided to hide his illegitimate Fortune.
He melted down the Gold, mixed in a little black Ink, any Amateur Chemist could have done it, and then he began to write. And write and write and write and write for the last 15 Years of his Life. It was mostly Nonsense, Gibberish, really anything that popped into his Head. He ran out of Things to talk about after 5 Pages, but he just kept on writing. The Gold was hidden in plain Sight, and it stayed hidden for 125 Years until in 2004, where Adrian Monk discovered it in Skinner's Residence with his Detective Skills.
Anyway, the Point is, that anyone with enough Time, Patience, DETERMINATION and Ink (or with a psychological Disorder that compells to keep writing) can write as much as 1000 600 Page Novels.
