The mouse moved his hands around the cup slowly. He could see the cup's content move from time to time, hinting that there was movement nearby.

"You don't think this area is dangerous then? From where we stand, I think there's human settlements nearby, in the northern direction."

The mole looked at his direction. It seemed like he twitched his star-shaped nose for a moment before making his point:

"Oh, I don't think you'll have to worry about that. I have dug these tunnels myself years ago, and no one has bothered them ever since. This area... it's very humid. You can tell by how much yummy food we found today. Those giants like their ground to be stable, but this area feels almost like clay when you put your claws to work on it. It's really fun, actually."

Sensing that he could forget his point if he let his companion keep talking, the mouse raised the voice.

"You don't think that would bring trouble as well? We might need some reinforcements to ensure the tunnels, then."

Closing the map, the mole just gave a quick answer, as he adjusted his backpack to get up:

"Well, that's on you to decide, Mr. Architect. Make them proud! Mind following me so I can show you the last tunnel?"

As the mouse looked to the ceiling, he thought of his kind and how they would appreciate having a safe route to escape to the neighbour area if their home were to be put in danger suddenly.

"Sure, let's see what your brawny claws have got in store for us".
