THE SPANISH INQUISITIONThis is what I spent my few free days over the summer making, and what finally debuted at Anime USA 2010 alongside a delicious Bloody Mary-era England worn by ~HeavenSealed .
The construction of this garment will be elaborated on in later photographs, since this is only a teaser, but I can say that I made the entire thing myself (save the hose and shoes), and it is entirely historically accurate for the time period, roughly the mid-1500's under King Philip II of Spain.

That's fantastic. I'm glad you posted a picture; I did see you at the con, but as it was mostly a rushed impression of wig and cloak as you swept on to wherever you were going, it's good to see the whole thing.

I love that sketch, and the cosplay is great, too. Making a cosplay that is historically accurate can't be easy, and I commend you for it.

Research is fun! My best friend and I are writing a Hetalia fanfic (actually, it feels like the fanfic's writing itself at this point), so research is almost half of it.
