18th is middle and the last GREAT dynasty if you ask me. The Tutmose line was/is the greatest in my opinion. So much drama with that group, and beauty. Hatchepsut is of course, my favorite

I haven't studied it in college no, but I've always been fascinated by Egypt since I was 10 years old. I've been there twice and love most things from ancient Egypt. It's one of my favorite time periods. What about you?

Being Greek, all civilizations in the area meant a lot to me - it was a kind of a bond with the past, a continuance so to speak. It's really heavy knowing u have more than 5,000 yrs of history on ur shoulders and that the cultures in the area, especially the Greek one, formed the western civilization. So, I did study a bit about Summerian, Mesopotamian, Egyptian and, of course, Greek history, but Egypt was always a source of fascination for me, too. When I was about 12 yo I took out the Britannica volumes and drew my own dynasty lines. I think I still have the papers stashed somewhere...
