This was a yearling black rat snake. He was crossing the road so my friend and I stopped to the car for quick photo shoot. My friend told me after we were done that this was the first snake he had ever held. The little guy was very curious about the camera lens.Related content

Thank you, that was 1 shot in about 10 tries. The rest have a very blurred face with lots of clear back shots.
He is a very brave guy, hanging out with me requires that I think.
