Description
The title is Pagan Poetry inspired by Bjork's song....there's a line "Swirling black lilies totaly ripe A secret code carved" and the painting is inspired by that line. In fact there is a secret code carved. I wrote a secret poem on the background and covered it.Related content

This painting is amazing! The contrasts and colour combinations are outstanding. The swirly golden paterns in the upper part of the painting give a great sense of depth to the whole painting. Also I like the may you made the leaves of the lilies, it looks like they really have a leavish texture.
I wish I could make a better photo of this painting for you cause it really deserves to be shown in all its colours.

Even with the blurry photograph this is an amazing piece of work. You have made the blue and gold harmonise so perfectly, and her expression is most intruiging.

Beautiful. And I liked it even more after reading your comments and seeing both the quote and the idea born from the quote, the writing of a poem which was then covered up by paint.
The detailing on the trailing florals is gorgeous - and I love the colour scheme as well, the velvet-navy of the background and the moon-blue of the skin seeming to intimate a sense of privacy which complemented the theme of the painting, I think. And the little enigmatic smile...beautifully done.

the whole painting was made after I told my bestfriend (guy) that I loved him...he was my first love. i sent him a letter... I told him I loved him and that i wasn't expecting anything in return... I just wanted him to know. He never spoke to me after that.
