TO be honest, i'm not a big fan of Frank Miller's. Some things rubbed the wrong way some things didn't make sense. But, Carrie Kelley i loved her !

XD You gotta be kidding!
Back when I was studying Fine Arts (a year ago) we had like a little club of people in the graphic design class who loved Miller's works, including the teacher and me, but my best friend didn't like them at all! Pretty curious.

I get his style i really do. His use of negative space in Sin City is genious, and i enjoyed the comics up to a point. His writing suited the gritty, violent world he created. But if you try to do the same thing to another, whole different setting it doesn't really work. All the grittiness and violence and one-woman-body-type kind of tired me out. I don't know if you've seen any of his latest stuff, but i get the feeling he ended up a caricature of himself.

Hah sure ! Though to be fair, about his recent work, i stumbled upon this article which was an eye opener. It's certainly worth a read and it made me rethink my sand on Miller's work.
