The Moon was swallowedby the pitch black sky
the Sky was the culprit
slowly, torturing the moon
making it long to always stay
In the Sky’s embrace
before it happened
Clouds cluttered within the moon
They shrouded the moon
until the moon felt it couldn’t breathe
The Moon wept starlit tears
the Stars danced around The Moon
they were unaware of her melancholy
the Sky embraced The Moon
“We belong to another time
We belong to another place.
You belong to the starlight,
I belong in the shadows
Nothing can be changed.”
